Andrea Yzeiri is an accomplished Data Scientist, currently in the role of Chief Data Scientist and Artificial Intelligence Engineer at Picsume, with a Master’s of Management in Analytics degree from McGill University. She was the first woman to complete an undergraduate thesis from the Odette School of Business, in its first registered cohort, as part of her Bachelor of Commerce concentrating in Supply Chain & Analytics. Andrea’s project portfolio includes engineering an automated serological scraper with Selenium, revolutionizing data augmentation with an 80% acceleration in speed and heightened accuracy, to test an optimized kidney matching algorithm for the Research Institute of the MUHC. She also led a proactive team in crafting an industry-specific search engine, enhancing client collaboration and system integration, and devised a sophisticated weighing algorithm to improve search result accuracy in a consultant position for Aero Montreal. Andrea has lectured at McGill University, delivering Python and analytics workshops to graduate students. Her expertise spans both technical development and business strategy, excelling in optimizing client resources and implementing scalable solutions. Her project portfolio spans industries including technology, service, healthcare, defense, forensics, law enforcement, and the arts.
